THE GROOVE TALK

Like many people during the COVID-19 Pandemic and lock-down, I needed to find a way to keep my brain from going mush. Music became my savior and passion. More specifically, creating playlists for my loved ones. These playlists contained songs that weren't popular and perhaps never even heard of to my loved ones since they were made by small and overshadowed artists. Nevertheless, these songs were gold. I discovered that sometimes the best songs will never even scratch the Top-100s list. Today, I am determined to find and talk to the up and coming music artists of Chicago and show my community why they should stop turning on the radio and start listening to the gold around them.
